The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has declared the SSLC (Class 10), Class 11 results for the academic year 2024–25 on May 16, 2025, as confirmed by School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi. The official announcement will be made by the Professor Anbazhagan Education Complex. This year, the pass percentage stands at 93.8 percent for Class 10 students. Whereas, the pass percentage for Class 11 stands at 92.1%. Girls outperformed boys, with their pass percentage being 6.4% higher. This year’s pass percentage also shows an improvement of 0.92% compared to last year. Apart from this, the official link for the Tamil Nadu Class 11th results will be activated this afternoon

This year, over 17 lakh students appeared for the state board examinations. Of the 9,08,080 students registered for Class 10, about 8,94,264 took the exams conducted from March 28 to April 15, 2025. Meanwhile, nearly 8 lakh students sat for the Class 11 (HSE +1) exams held from March 5 to March 27, 2025.

The Tamil Nadu SSLC (Class 10) and HSE +1 (Class 11) results for the academic year 2024–25 will be declared on May 16, 2025, with Class 10 results going live at 9am and Class 11 results at 2 pm. Students can access their provisional marksheets through the official websites — www.tnresults.nic.in, www.dge.tn.gov.in, and results.digilocker.gov.in.
