WAYANAD: Malayalees woke up on Tuesday morning to the news of the biggest landslide disaster Kerala has ever seen. More than 100 people have lost their lives in this unspeakable calamity.
Around 100 people were injured and numerous are being treated in hospitals. Many of them are in serious condition. The Army, NDRF team and locals are continuing rescue operations.
Rescue operations are in progress at Chooralmala and Mundakkai. The army is on the scene for rescue operations. It is reported that many people are still trapped in Mundakkai area. There is information that around 300 people are trapped in the resort.
